First things first, whenever you shop online you need to follow two steps to save the most money. If you are in a rush to find out all the affordable places to shop for kid’s clothes that I have in store for you, you can pin that post for later so you don’t miss out on the extra savings! Before you start shopping though, I definitely recommend that you sign up for and shop through Ebates to get the most bang for your buck. I love getting those checks in the mail every few months!
My Secret for Getting Kid’s Clothes for Free!
Sometimes, I am even able to get clothes for my children for free! I do this by using the app Ibotta (It’s free to download and use and you get $10 just for signing up!) when I buy groceries. Here you can learn all about Ibotta and how to use it. If you aren’t already using Ibotta, I can’t recommend it enough! It is one of the easiest apps to use and one of my most used apps! I also use Swagbucks to redeem for gift cards to buy children’s clothes, too! Swagbucks also gives you $10 just for signing up (and it’s free!).
Now on to the good stuff…
The Best Affordable Children’s Clothing Stores (That you may not know about!)
Thred Up – Thred Up has been around for awhile now, but they only recently started to sell children’s clothing in addition to women’s clothing! They have also recently lowered their prices and now I’m a huge fan! Thred Up is an online consignment store, so the clothes are used. The condition of the item is always clearly stated and returns are free if you aren’t happy with the item once you receive it. You can even search specifically for things that are new with tags still on!
My favorite thing about Thred Up are all the discount codes they offer constantly (leave something sitting in your cart for awhile and you’ll see what I mean!) and for first time customers you can usually get an even better discount! Another tip for shopping on Thred Up is if you have a brand you love, you can sign up to get e-mail alerts when new things that are in your size come in from that brand! To get notified, you just search for the brand you are looking for and a box will come up before the search results that says “Save This Search”. Just click that box and you are good to go! You will get one e-mail per day with all of the new arrivals for that brand!
Kidizen – Kidizen is another store similar to Thred Up where you can buy used brand name clothes. You can find some great deals here, too! If you are familiar with PoshMark, this is like the kid version! The app is more user-friendly than the website, but you can use either! Start shopping here to get $5 off your first purchase!
Jane – Jane is another one of my favorite places for finding fun and affordable kid’s clothing! It is also a deal site, so items are available for a limited amount of time. You can sign up for their e-mail list to get alerted to all of their deals of the day. They have so many cute options for both girls and boys (and even things for mama, too)!
Zulily – Zulily is a deal site that offers great new deals every day! They always have kid’s clothes from various brands available as well as all types of products mom’s can use, such as household items, furniture, maternity clothes, and shoes!
Crazy 8 – Crazy 8 is a great option to find clothes for kids ages 6 months and up! They are almost always having a sale and you can get some really great deals!
Gymboree – Gymboree also has some great sales that you will want to watch out for!
GroopDealz – GroupDealz is another deal site (like Jane above) where you can find great deals on kid’s clothes, home decor, women’s clothes and more!
And then there’s Carter’s – Carter’s is a classic and my list of affordable children’s clothing stores just wouldn’t be complete without it! They have awesome sales all year round and you can always get cash back through Ebates when you shop online at Carter’s!
I have another little trick I use when shopping at Carter’s with Ebates. Since Carter’s and OshKosh are owned by the same company, you should search Ebates for both of those companies and then click through to shop at whichever store (Carter’s or OshKosh) is offering the most cash back through Ebates. Sometimes they will both offer the same amount of cash back, but occasionally one will offer more! When you click through Ebates to the site offering the most cash back, you can easily switch over to buy things from either Carter’s or OshKosh and get the higher amount of cash back no matter which one your purchases come from! I hope I explained that well, but if you have any questions about this, just let me know in the comments or send me an e-mail!
I hope you found some gems in this list that you hadn’t hear of before! I’d love to hear about the great deals you find! If you have a favorite affordable children’s store that you love that’s not listed here, let me know! I’m always looking for a great deal! 🙂 And if you want to know the best stores for affordable women’s clothes you can find them here!
